The Share Walk for Remembrance & Hope was first held in 2002 for 50 bereaved parents wanting to publicly recognize the lives of their precious children. In over a decade, this important event has grown by leaps and bounds. Over 3,000 attendees gathered to commemorate the lives of over 650 babies. This growth is not in response to a change in pregnancy outcomes (today, 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in loss), but a result of families being given compassionate care and access to bereavement programs at the time of and following the death of a baby. Both of which, Share provides free of charge to grieving families.
